Last week I caught up with a good friend of mine who was in town, while here he presented me with a little gift... a Tate Labs Bar Fly Garmin mount.
Reasonably new to Australia via Baum Cycles, the Bar Fly is designed for the Garmin Edge 200/500/800 and creates a cleaner aesthetic by allowing you to move the unit from the stem to front of the handlebars.
In addition to a cleaner, integrated appearance, the Bar Fly puts the Garmin in a position that is much easier to read the on-screen information. Have you ever noticed how hard it is to read the Garmin when mounted to the stem?... especially when you are in the drops or out of the saddle hanging over the bars!
Suitable for 31.8mm handlebars, the Bar Fly retails for around $40 is now available from Baum Cycles or Above Category.
